1. Who we are

Invoicements is operated by Invoicements. Invoicements is the data controller for personal data processed through invoicements.com.

2. What we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, password hash.
  • Business data you provide: client names, client email addresses, invoice line items, amounts, currencies, notes.
  • Communications: support emails, in, app messages.
  • Usage and device data: log entries, IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps, error reports.
  • Cookies: essential cookies for authentication and session management.

3. Why we use it

  • To create and maintain your account and provide the service (legal basis: contract).
  • To send invoices and reminder emails on your behalf to the recipients you designate (contract).
  • To prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents (legitimate interest).
  • To improve the product, fix bugs, and understand usage (legitimate interest).
  • To respond to your support requests (contract).
  • To comply with legal obligations (legal obligation).

4. Who we share it with

  • Service providers (subprocessors): hosting, database, email delivery, error monitoring, and analytics tools that help us run the service.
  • Paddle, our Merchant of Record, processes payments, handles invoicing, manages subscriptions, and ensures tax compliance for purchases made through Invoicements.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where strictly necessary.
  • Authorities where required by law or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Some of our subprocessors are located outside the UK and EEA. Where this is the case we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent UK transfer mechanisms.

6. How long we keep it

We keep account and business data for as long as your account is active. After you delete your account, we remove or anonymise your data within 90 days, except where we must retain it longer to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • request correction or deletion;
  • restrict or object to processing;
  • request portability of your data;
  • withdraw consent at any time where consent is the legal basis;
  • complain to your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@invoicements.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, encrypted storage, access controls, and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk and respond quickly to incidents.

9. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or third, party tracking cookies.

10. Changes

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in, app notice.
